Airport and airline bookings
The Kharkiv International Airport is located 12 miles southeast of downtown. The cheapest and fastest way to get from the airport to the city center is by mini-bus or bus; the journey to the metro station "Prospekt Gagarina" is 15-20 minutes. You can also take a taxi, but remember that this is the most expensive way to go to/from the airport. Kharkiv International Airport operates regular flights, by various airlines, to Kiev (Boryspil, Zhuliany), Moscow, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Vienna, Bratislava, as well as to Egypt and other countries. The city has the sale of tickets for many airlines which charter flights within Ukraine and CIS countries, Turkey, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Syria, Iran, China and the UAE.
